Sauna has always been part of finnish customs since the beginning of time. Today, sauna is even more strongly associated with well-being and relaxation. The health effects of the sauna have been extensively studied, and enjoying the sauna benches, among other things, lowers blood pressure, relieves stress and various pain conditions. There are many good reasons to come to the sauna world of Viking Sauna to take "löyly". The sauna world has been built around the Smoke Sauna Viking Sauna. There are alternatives for saunas for bigger and smaller groups. The Vikings celebrated life at the abundant, swaying delicacies. And you too can eat like a Viking! You can order a tasty, harty Viking meal in the fireplace room of the smoke sauna.
The sauna facilities are available to order from 18:00 to 23:00, or by appointment you can arrive earlier or beyond the sauna for a small extra charge.

Wood Pellet Sauna and Scenery Sauna are heated only in connection with Saunamarathon. You have also opportunity to rent Sauna in the tree!
In our Saunas you can have "löyly" like an authentic Viking. Smoke Sauna Viking Sauna is an old fashioned smoke sauna, which has been built by the traditional wood and clay method. From the place where the clay was lifted has formed a beautiful swimming bond.
The Smoke Sauna stove is heated around seven hours before having "löyly", so the long and throrough heating process guarantees gentle "löyly". Inside the sauna it is very black (so, a little bit light) and even 15 people are suitable to sit at the same time on the benches in the sauna.
This ship is real wooden old ship and it is 12 meters long. After many steps the sauna has built inside the ship. The beautiful design of the ship enables gentle and steamy "löyly" also for big groups, even for 15 people in the same time. Lichen is used in the very unique lamp especially designed and made to this sauna. You have to see it! And also this sauna, of course.
Everybody loves wooden houses in trees! And because we have a lot of imagination, in Sauna world you can climb to a hight of three meters to the tree to have "löyly"! Our wooden tree house sauna has been built between two solid trees. Genuine natural stones of wood-burning stove guarantee gentle "löyly". In the wooden tree house sauna there can have "löyly" four people in the same time.
This sauna is small but hot if you like it to be. It depends how much the stove has been warmed. From this sauna you can run through Viking Shower for a refreshing coolness to swim in the swimming bond, for example. Four people can sit in same time in this sauna. This small sauna is heated to order also for small families and couples.

Would you like to admire sunset or stars in the sky, or nice garden and swimming bond, same time as sitting in the sauna? In our Sauna world it is possible! The walls and ceiling has been made from transparent material, so the nature around creates the unique and seasonal lovely scenery. In this sauna can sit and have "löyly" even ten people in the same time. Wood-burning stove is in the middle of sauna. Natural stones gives gentle "löyly".
Wood Pellet Sauna looks outside and inside like normal finnish sauna but "löyly" is exceptional. This sauna is heated with wood pellet like the name succests. There you can have gentle "löyly" with special wood scent. In this sauna there can sit about ten people to have "löyly" or with a smaller group you can also land on benches and relax. How nice!
This unique, special Swing Sauna, which can only be found in Viikinkisauna's Sauna World, can fit 4 people in the sauna (and swing) at a time. It's not a sauna or anything if you can't swing there! There are glass walls all around, so you can see a beautiful green garden and a pond while you're in the sauna, or the snowy slopes in winter. Have you tried this sauna yet?

In this nice hot tube Viking Ship Helka you don´t have to be cold. The warm bath relaxes and bathing has many positive health effects, for example it pampers the heart and mind. Could you know better than staring at the stars in the beautiful bright sky in the fresh air? The large pool of water is heated with a wood stove. Aboard this Viking Ship Helka can sit eight people in the same time.
Are you hungry or do you need room for meeting before or after sauna? This room next to the saunas has very nice feeling with Viking style furnitured and decorated interior. There can sit 18 people together eating delicious viking style food or having coffee or drinks. In Fire Place Room you can enjoy a memorable evening with tasty food. You can also bring your own foor and drinks to Fire Place Room (no glass bottles to the pool area). A barbecue shelter is also available.
The Viking Sauna sauna world with seven saunas, hot tub, washing and dressing rooms, toilets and a fireplace room are available on request all year round. There is also a swimming pond in the yard, and you can take a dip in the cool water in summer and even in winter you can take iceswimming in a hole made in the ice.
On request we also arrange food, coffee and drinks. It is possible to bring your own food and drinks to the sauna (no glass bottles to the pool area).
